Vicar’s Message

Dear Holy Family members, as we continue our journey of faith together, I want to take a moment to reflect on the blessings and challenges that have shaped our parish community.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support, dedication, and love for our parish. Your commitment to our faith community is a testament to the strength of our bond as brothers and sisters in Christ. Holy Family Syro-Malabar Catholic Church of Oklahoma City is one of the oldest parishes of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago. This parish is blessed with a mixed group of Catholics originating from Kerala, adding colour, beauty and vibrancy to the church. God’s admirable intervention in blessing us with such a beautiful and prominent place of worship wherein people can easily gather together for worship and togetherness and approach the church in their need, is a marvel in itself. This is a common platform for children, youth, adults and seniors to come together and grow intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually. As we look ahead, I encourage all of us to remember the core values that define our parish: love, compassion, and service to others. Let us embrace these values and carry them forward into our daily lives, both within and beyond our parish boundaries.
Fr Antony Pittappilly,
Vicar, Holy Family Syro-Malabar Catholic Church of Oklahoma
