Welcome to Holy Family Syro-Malabar Catholic Church

3901 S.W.29 th. St.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73119

We, the Syro-Malabar Catholic community of Holy Family Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, are a unique parish with parishioners originally from Kerala, India, united in the Body of Christ. As followers of Christ, under guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are called to worship together, to serve one another, to grow in faith, to further the presence of God in the world, preserve our heritage, and pass our Indian heritage to our children.

Welcome to the web page for Holy Family Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. This Catholic Church is part of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago which follows the Oriental Rite of Liturgy.  On April 7, 2008 we purchased the new church and on April 13, 2008 Mar Jacob Angadiath, then Bishop,  dedicated and inagurated our church. Fr. Davis Cherayath is the first priest of our church. Even though it is a very small parish, with only 49 registered families, our church is a vibrant and alive Catholic Parish.  Every alternative Sundays we have Malayalam and English Holy Qurbana in Syro-Malabar Rite.  Every first friday of the month we have silent adoration from 7.30 pm to 8.00 pm followed by Holy Qurbana in Malayalam. We conduct CCD classes for 20 students from 12 malayalee catholic families and prepare them for their Solemn Holy communion and Sacrament of Reonciliation, and conduct other religious, socio-cultural, and sports activities.

You are cordially invited to join us on Sunday for the Holy Qurbana, inorder to experience the vibrant beauty of Oriental Liturgy with full of music and mysteries and to share the Christ experience with the community.

God bless!
